The Story of The Lobby
Decades ago, this was the height of luxury, a place where the elite and the eccentric came to disappear. But in the summer of '84, the disappearances became permanent. It started with a renowned doctor who went to his room for a brief rest and never returned for his morning rounds. Soon after, a famous belly dancer—the star of the hotel’s lounge—vanished mid-performance, leaving only a silk veil on the stage.They weren't the only ones. Dozens of ordinary citizens, from travelers to locals, checked into the hotel and simply vanished from the ledger. No bags were packed, no bills were settled, and no footprints led out the front door. Rumors swirled of a hidden history, of whispers heard through the vents, and of a mystery that lived behind the heavy oak doors of the staff quarters.The check-in desk is empty, but you are far from alone. The Rules
1. The Points and HintsYou start with 9 hints; hints can be sent to you anytime by performing a specific action and every hint wasted regenerates itself after 5 minutes. Be careful, one hint deducts one point, and every solution deducts two points, and each room has 10 points. once all 10 points are wasted, you lose 7 permanent hints.2. Official Guest Protocol & Safety PolicyTo ensure your stay at The Lobby is as thrilling as it is safe, all guests are required to adhere to our standard operating procedures. Please remember that you are stepping into a vintage environment; therefore, force is never the answer. No puzzle requires the use of physical strength, climbing on furniture, or dismantling hotel fixtures like vents or lighting. For your safety, stay clear of electrical outlets and areas marked with "Staff Only" tape, as these are not part of the mystery. We operate a strict no-recording policy to protect the secrets of 1984 for future travelers—keep your phones tucked away and remain fully immersed in the era. Everything you need to escape is contained within the room; bringing in outside tools or flashlights is prohibited. Please treat our props with respect; intentional damage to the hotel’s history will result in an immediate check-out without a refund. Our concierge is monitoring your progress at all times via camera and audio for your safety—should you find yourself truly trapped in time, help is only a request away. By crossing the threshold, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that your survival depends solely on your logic, teamwork, and respect for the rules of the house.
